1975 FERRARI 365 GT4 2+2

 

Starting 1972 with the 365 GT 4 2+2 Pininfarina pennedan understated yet handsome and angular notchback coupe´ that promised more room to all occupants as compared to it’s predecessor. The new car shared the 4.4 liter wet sump 320 hp, v 12 engine and 5 speed transmission of the previous GT/C4. It also rode on an evolution on the C/4´s chassis with a wheel base that was stretched by 8 inches and that also incorporated the C /4’s self-leveling independent rear suspension. The 365 GT 4 2+2+ promised all of the high speed comfort of the previous Ferrari 2+2 ´ s  its effortless speed and luxurious interior  prompted Journalists at the time to consider it as a alternative  to a private aircraft. 470 examples has been built from 1972-1976. The car was more expensive than an Aston Martin V 8 or a Lamborghini Espada.

For buyers today this Ferrari provides a driving experience that is more aristocratic measurably different than their more sports-oriented stablemates, yet is every bit as satisfying and entertaining for their enthusiastic ownership community (by Hagerty).

On this car all leather work has been done completely new, motor checked and serviced. Body rustproof and straight. Everything works incl. A/C.  It drives extremely well as expected from a Ferrari. Underbody very nice .Some minor dents from opening door.
